|Aims and Objectives||The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Ageing Studies aims to develop and prepare students to have the competence, attributes and abilities to work with the diverse population of older adults and to meet the emerging needs of the ageing society. In addition to the professional knowledge and competence, students are provided with the opportunities to develop generic attributes including independent and critical thinking, problem-solving skills, communication skills, leadership and teamwork skills, creativity and innovation, and entrepreneurship.|
|Features||This programme is offered by the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (FHSS) at PolyU and is administered by PolyU SPEED. Classes are held on the PolyU Hung Hom Bay Campus or PolyU West Kowloon Campus.|
Upon successful completion of the programme, the degree will be awarded by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
