My school life

Dear Wing,

You know I have now become a student of the BA(Hons) Art & Design in Education programme. I also know that you want to enroll in this course; maybe, you are also interested in my school life!

Our school life is busy. We spend hours & hours every week studying individually or together with my colleagues. We exchange ideas among classmates of different professional backgrounds. We are encouraged to look up different “problematic issues” and carry out personal or group investigations. It is interesting because there are many valuable topics we missed in our daily life! The assignments here not only train our techniques in writing research papers, they also include many on-site observations, case studies, creative projects and discussions. For example, we went to Singapore last year for a visual culture study project. It is eye-opening and I learnt by comparing our city with others! Doing these kind of projects is just like doing an experiment. In other words, we are “learning by doing”. It also gives opportunities for us to take risks and I wish you luck with your application this year!

Ka Hing
