The goals of this course are to enhance eHealth capabilities of the Asian Pacific region, especially the Greater China; to promote knowledge of health informatics for healthcare professionals in the region; to offer practical training for healthcare IT professionals to facilitate their work; and to cultivate the best practice and knowledge sharing in the industry.

The intended audience of this course includes 1) Different healthcare professionals: medical practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, radiographers, allied health professionals and other healthcare-related professionals interested in health IT and health informatics; 2) Hospital administrators and management executives; 3) Government, public health and academic professionals; 4) IT professionals, industry business leaders and mangers dealing with IT systems and solutions in healthcare sector; 5) Senior administrators and policy makers involved in organisational transformation initiatives in health information technology; 6) Research scientists working on IT-based, healthcare-related projects; and 7) Individuals interested in career opportunities in health informatics.
