|The Metal Cutting and Related Processes Training is a tailor-made training program designed for HASEL trainees in progressive levels. This 16-weeks training program consists of three (3) parts: Practical training in Basic Machine Operation; Material Removal and Forming Integrative Project and Company Base Manufacturing Project. |
This training aims at developing trainee’s practical skill in basic machining and other manufacturing processes. It enables trainees to have a holistic understanding on technologies applied in manufacturing industry through integrated application-oriented mini-projects. The practical use of computer-aided design tools, principles and operation of different manufacturing processes, and properties and application of common materials will be involved. It can enhance trainee’s understanding of the working principle, process capability (e.g. accuracy, limitations) and application in order to strengthen trainee’ engineering competence.
