Intended Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able:

‧ To consider local and international crisis and media management cases.

Indicative Contents (The course will cover the following topics)

‧ Media Engagement and Strategy: Understand the media and building win-win relationships
- Understand the Hong Kong media landscape
- Understand media development and the evolution from traditional media to new media
- Dissect media operations for better partnership and engagement

‧ Crisis Management: Every organization is vulnerable to crisis. A crisis management plan is the key for an organisation to maintain its credibility and positive image
- Crisis management plan – to develop your crisis communications plan in order to prevent crisis and safeguard company’s reputation when under threat
- Crisis communications –how to communicate with your stakeholders in priority during crisis, craft appropriate messages and handle enquiries under pressure
