School Overview

The School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) was established by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 1999.  The School, along with the Hong Kong Community College (HKCC), is a unit under the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE).

PolyU SPEED’s primary mission is to offer a range of quality, self-financed undergraduate top-up degree programmes in the field of business and other professional areas.

Additionally, the School has developed collaborations with Northumbria University’s Newcastle Business School and the University of London to offer a number of their degree award programmes and courses in Hong Kong.  PolyU SPEED also offers short courses on specialised, professionally oriented subjects for life-long learners.
