Supporting Documents for Application
PolyU SPEED Taught Postgraduate Programmes
To facilitate our assessment, applicants should submit the following academic qualifications and relevant supporting documents (if applicable) by uploading to the PolyU SPEED Online Application for Admission (OAA) system
Personal Identity
- Hong Kong Identity Card or other identification documents (e.g. Passport, Mainland Resident Identity Card, Exit/Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao 往来港澳通行证)
Academic Qualifications
Full academic transcripts
Graduation certificates
A valid Online Verification Report of Higher Education Qualification Certificate (教育部学历证书电子注册备案表) and a valid Online Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate (中国高等教育学位在线验证报告) issued by the CHSI [中国高等教育学生信息网(学信网)] (required for Mainland qualifications)
Academic Degree Certification Report by the Education Service Center for Overseas Study [教育部留学服务中心国(境)外学历学位证书] (required for overseas qualifications by Mainland students)
Note: Applicants who have attended international institutions whose academic transcripts are in a language other than Chinese or English must submit the transcripts along with officially certified English translations.
English Language Requirement
- Report of IELTS (雅思), TOEFL (托福), CET-4/ -6 (全國大學英語四六級) and/or other relevant supporting documents
(for applicants who are not native speakers of English, and do not possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification for which English was the primary medium of instruction)
Other Requirements
- Relevant professional membership documents
- Relevant work experience documents
- Academic reference letters
Your application will remain incomplete until we have received all the necessary supporting materials. Please only provide necessary documents to support your application. Provision of unnecessary documents will delay the processing of your application.
Please be reminded that you cannot formally register with PolyU SPEED until all required original or official documents listed in your application have been submitted and verified to our satisfaction, either before or at the time of registration. Providing false or misleading information will result in DISQUALIFICATION of your application.
PolyU SPEED may request holders of other qualifications to obtain official transcripts and/or score reports of public examinations, which will be sent directly to us by the issuing universities or authorities prior to programme registration. Additionally, you may be required to provide certified true copies of your academic documents before programme registration.
All supporting documents of unsuccessful applications will be destroyed after the end of the admission exercise.
