PolyU SPEED students win cash awards for their innovative entrepreneurial concepts
PolyU SPEED同學憑創新創業概念獲基金資助



On 6th June 2017, three teams of PolyU SPEED students studying BSc (Hons) in Applied Sciences (Information Systems and Web Technologies) won cash awards of the PolyU Student Entrepreneurial Proof-of-Concept Funding Scheme (the Scheme).   Being a pilot funding initiative launched by the Institute for Entrepreneurship (IfE), the Scheme aims to help academic departments or course instructors augment their entrepreneurship courses with extra-curricular support. The Scheme consists of cash awards and Proof-of-Concept (POC) funds up to HK$30,000 per awarded project. Teams that have obtained cash awards can apply for the POC funds. Teams that have obtained the POC funds can apply for assistance such as mentoring and facility support throughout the development cycle.

PolyU SPEED同學憑創新創業概念獲基金資助

三支由理大專業進修學院(PolyU SPEED)應用科學(榮譽)理學士 (資訊系統及網絡科技)課程同學組成的隊伍,在2017年6月6日獲頒理大「學生創業概念驗證基金計劃」的現金獎。此計劃是理大企業發展院(IfE)發起的先導基金計劃,旨在與各學術部門或課程導師緊密合作,透過為同學在課堂以外的活動提供支援,以加強創業培育。計劃除包括現金獎外,亦為每個項目頒發最高港幣30,000元的概念驗證(POC)基金。成功獲得現金獎的團隊可以申請POC基金;獲頒POC基金的團隊在整個開發週期中亦可以申請支援服務,例如商業指導和設施支援等。
