CLP Power Academy and PolyU SPEED Nurture Talent for Power Industry
New Part-Time Degree Course in Electrical Engineering Launched

 
CLP Power Hong Kong Limited (CLP Power) and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)-affiliated College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) today (28March) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in establishing the partnership in nurturing more talents in electrical engineering to cope with the needs brought about by continuing social development. A newly launched Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical Engineering Programme has started its admission period and, subject to approval from PolyU, the programme is expected to commence in September 2018.

在簽署合作備忘錄後,中華電力、香港理工大學、專業及持續教育學院以及專業進修學院管

CLP Power Vice Chairman Mrs Betty Yuen says the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in
Electrical Engineering programme will provide more professionals for the power industry
and offer power engineering practitioners opportunities for further studies to help them
become engineers.
 
中華電力副主席阮蘇少湄女士表示,學士課程既可銜接現有的專業文憑課程,同時亦可助電力
工程從業員晉升成為工程師。
 
PolyU President Professor Timothy W. Tong says the launch of the Bachelor of
Engineering (Honours) in Electrical Engineering programme by PolyU SPEED is a timely
response to the needs of Hong Kong and the industry.
 
香港理工大學校長唐偉章教授表示,理大專業進修學院推出電機工程學(榮譽)工學士課程,
是對社會和市場需求的適時回應。

中華電力有限公司(「中華電力」)與香港理工大學轄下專業及持續教育學院於今天(3月28日)簽署合作備忘錄,雙方達成合作夥伴關係,攜手為香港培訓更多電力工程專才,應付社會持續發展需要。即將開辦的電機工程學(榮譽)工學士學位課程,已開始接受報名,待理大審批後,預計今年九月開課。
