The programme consists of 10 compulsory subjects of 3 credits each.
Students who have completed 30 credits of study with satisfactory results will be awarded the Diploma in Active Ageing.
Students who have completed 9 credits of study with satisfactory results may apply to exit the programme of study with the exit award of Certificate in Active Ageing.

Under the normal study load, the number of class contact hours per week is 6.
Classes will normally be held on weekday evenings and/or Saturday daytime.
Applicants are expected to have the following qualification:
- Secondary 6 or equivalent, OR
- Secondary 5 or equivalent plus 3 years of full-time work experience, OR
- QF Level 3 qualification.
Applicants who cannot provide proof of attainment of the requisite qualification but have accumulated at least 10 years of work experience in senior positions will also be considered on an individual basis. They will be required to demonstrate to the Admission Interview Panel their ability to complete the programme.
Waived (No application fee is required for 2019/20)
HK$1,930 per credit for 2019/20 academic year.
The tuition fee is charged on a semester basis.
Successful applicants will be required to pay a registration fee of HK$5,000 (being part of the tuition fee for the first semester of study) by the date as specified on the notice of offer/ conditional offer (normally within 10 days from the issue date of the notice of offer/ conditional offer).
Tuition fees paid are normally neither refundable nor transferable.
HK$400(A one-off caution money will be charged at student's first registration.)
Part-time students are eligible to apply for Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) offered by the Government's Student Finance Office (SFO). Please visit SFO website www.wfsfaa.gov.hk/sfo for details.
Completed application form, together with copies of academic qualification certifications and other supporting documents (if any), should be submitted by hand or by post to any of the SPEED Offices.
