Dr CHUNG, Kam-ho Manson

Dr Chung obtained his doctorate degree from PolyU in 2003. Germane to his professional qualifications, Dr Chung is a Certified Hospitality Educator and Certified Hotel Administrator granted by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute.
Prior to joining the education field, Dr Chung had embarked on the hospitality industry for numerous years and gained extensive international hotel operation and management experience and know-how. In light of Dr Chung’s thorough work experience, he was then involved in the establishment of the ever first Chinese Cuisine Training Institute in Hong Kong, a millennium project initiated by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2000. Besides, Dr Chung also took up senior teaching and programme administration positions in other institutions, both locally and overseas, before coming aboard here.
In view of Dr Chung’s diverse academic and professional qualifications, he is able to deliver teaching in many tourism and hospitality related areas including Beverage Management, Club Management, and Event Sales and Marketing Management.
Dr Chung’s research interests lie in the domain of hospitality management, in particular food and beverage management and consumer behaviour, etc.
