Dr Calvin Wan obtained his bachelor's degree in Information Technology and master’s degree in Marketing Management from PolyU. He joined PolyU in 2001 and worked on the e-learning platform development. Subsequently, he joined PolyU SPEED in 2002 as a programme administrator and took up teaching responsibilities in 2005. He also worked for The University of Hong Kong and Lingnan University.
Currently, Calvin teaches business subjects including marketing, strategic management, economics and e-commerce.
