Dr Calvin Cheng is a Lecturer of the Division of Business and Hospitality Management. He also serves as the Scholarship Coordinator and Examination Officer (Academic) at the College. Dr Cheng obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing (with First Class Honours) from PolyU and Master of Economics from The University of Hong Kong. He received his Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle, Australia. Dr Cheng is currently a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM) and an associate member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).


Prior to joining this institution, Dr Cheng was a marketing staff member of a multinational corporation; he also held administrative and marketing positions in the PolyU proper and the Vocational Training Council. He has gained solid experience in marketing and sales, management, project development, and programme administration. 


His research interests include consumer behaviour, brand management, relationship marketing, learning and teaching in higher education, strategic management and supply chain management etc. His researches have been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented his papers in international academic conferences.
