Dr Adam Wong is a Senior Lecturer of the Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studies and an Assistant Programme Director. Adam has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Before joining this institution in 2002, he had worked for international companies such as Acer, Philips, Hewlett-Packard, and PCCW. His professional experience includes system development, database support, electronic-commerce and project management.
He obtained his Doctor in Business Administration and MSc in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University, MSc in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and BSc from The University of Hong Kong.
He has over 10 years of teaching in various areas covering strategy, human resources management, research workshops, computer programming, computer security and e-commerce; from undergraduate to master programmes; from local to overseas universities.
He has presented research papers in international conferences, and local professional bodies such as The Hong Kong Institute of Engineers and CPD Alliance of Hong Kong.
He is a full member of the Hong Kong Computer Society, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Certified Java Programmer, a member of ISACA (Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association).
His research interests are the use of information technology in training and education, and digital marketing.
