A. Tropical Cyclone Warning
Signal No. 1 or 3
Classes/examinations will be held as scheduled.
Signal No. 8 or above
Arrangements for Classes NOT YET STARTED | ||

When the Hong Kong Observatory announces during the time/period specified that Signal No. 8 or above is likely to be hoisted within the next two hours OR when the Signal is hoisted during the period OR an ‘extreme condition’ announcement issued by the Government is in force: | Between 6:30 am and 12:00 noon | All classes* starting before 2:00 pm will be cancelled. |
Between 12:00 noon and 4:30 pm | All classes* starting at any time from 12:00 noon and before 6:30 pm will be cancelled. | |
From 4:30 pm | All classes* starting from 4:30 pm onward will be cancelled. | |

Classes/examinations will be held as scheduled.
Red Warning
Classes/examinations will be held as scheduled unless otherwise announced by SPEED.
Black Warning
