Research

PolyU SPEED acknowledges the importance of research and scholarly activities, particularly those underpin teaching and learning activities at the tertiary level, as our award programmes are upgraded to honours degree level.  Our academic colleagues are encouraged to participate in research and scholarly activities, such as publication of books, book chapters, journal papers, case studies, conference presentations, working papers and consultancy work.

The School has launched a Working Paper Series to disseminate ongoing research work of its academic staff relevant to its key academic disciplines. The working papers that constitute “work in progress” are published to stimulate discussion and sharing of the academic staff’s efforts for the advancement of knowledge across the disciplines and academic programmes within the School.

PolyU SPEED is currently an institutional member with the Research Collaboration Alliance of the Local Self-financing Degree Sector to promote collaboration in research and scholarly activities among the self-financing degree granting institutions in Hong Kong.
