Admission for Mainland Applicants - Full-time 4-Year Undergraduate Programmes
Information for Applicants (September 2026 Entry)
Period for waiving application fee (HK$500): 4 December 2025 – 14 February 2026
Minimum Entrance Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Graduated from high school;
- Achieved the minimum scores required for undergraduate admission (本科分数线), with an English score of at least 100 in the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE), or an equivalent qualification; and
- Passed the admission interview and a written test arranged by SPEED.
How to Apply
PolyU SPEED has not established co-operation with any organisations on the Mainland China on admission activities. Please contact PolyU SPEED directly for enquiries and application procedures.
Applicants should apply through the Online Application for Admission (OAA) and upload the following documents onto the system:
- Mainland Identity Card
- Mainland Residence Registration Card
- Valid Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau (EEP) (may be submitted later)
- High school transcript
- High school graduation certificate
- Results of National College Entrance Examination or other public examinations*
- HKDSE Candidate Entry Information Checklist (applicable to current HKDSE Candidate only)

Important Notes on Academic Credentials
Applicants must ensure the accuracy and authenticity of their academic credentials. Any false or misleading information may violate Hong Kong laws on "False Instruments" or "Making False Instruments". The School reserves the right to:
- revoke the offer of admission/ student status/ awards already conferred;
- forfeit the application fee, tuition fees, and other admission-related fees paid;
- directly contact or request applicants to contact their credential-awarding institutions or bodies to provide verified true copies of relevant academic credentials;
- re-verify the academic credentials submitted by current students at the time of admission and throughout their period of study and may request further proof;
- refer the case to the law enforcement authorities of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and seek compensation from the offender.
For verification purposes, the applicants will be required to present the originals of all supporting documents at the time of registration. Failure to do so may lead to nullification of your eligibility for admission. All fees paid will not be refunded.
Please note that any misrepresentation will lead to disqualification of the application for admission to and registration with PolyU SPEED. Making, submitting or using any false instrument (including forged documents) are serious criminal offences involving dishonesty under the Crimes Ordinance (Cap.200, Laws of Hong Kong), punishable by imprisonment. The School will refer any instances of suspected admission fraud matters to the police and reserves the right to take other actions. All fees paid will not be refunded in such cases.
Tuition Fee
Tuition fees, which vary by programmes, are 30% higher for non-local students than that for local students. For tuition fees for 2025/26, please click here.
It is the sole responsibility of non-local applicants to ensure their eligibility of abode in Hong Kong or obtain a valid student visa from the Immigration Department of the HKSAR Government before the commencement of study, otherwise the registration will be nullified and fees paid will not be refunded. All visa applications must be submitted to the Immigration Department via PolyU SPEED as the sponsor.
Change of Programme Choices
If applicants wish to change programme choices, please fill in the Form 33-M (4YD) and submit it to us via email (ug.admission@speed-polyu.edu.hk) on or before 17 June 2026. Each applicant is allowed to submit the request of Change of Programme Choice ONCE only. Late submission will not be processed.
