PolyU SPEED Belt and Road Scholarship 2026/27
This scholarship supports outstanding students from Belt and Road countries/regions to pursue an undergraduate degree programme at PolyU SPEED, with the aim of aligning with the HKSAR government's efforts to promote the "Study in Hong Kong" brand and position Hong Kong as a premier destination for international students and a global education hub.
Objectives
- Support Outstanding Students: To enable outstanding graduates from the Belt and Road countries/regions to pursue in Hong Kong an undergraduate degree programme at PolyU SPEED and earn a degree awarded by PolyU, a world top 100 university
- Facilitate Educational and Cultural Exchanges: To enhance educational and cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and the Belt and Road countries/regions
Who Are Eligible
Tertiary Graduates in Home Country [for PolyU SPEED Undergraduate Degree Programmes (2-year Full-time)]
You must be a tertiary institution graduate, or you have completed the first two years of a 4-year bachelor’s degree programme (or holders of equivalent qualifications)
High School Graduates in Home Country [for PolyU SPEED Undergraduate Degree Programmes (4-year Full-time)]
You must be a high school graduate (or holders of equivalent qualifications)
To be considered for the PolyU SPEED Belt and Road Scholarship 2026/27, you must be admitted to PolyU SPEED for the September 2026 intake and have a record of outstanding academic and/or non-academic performance.

Scholarship Amount
• Either a full-tuition scholarship or a half-tuition scholarship will be awarded based on the academic and/or non-academic performance of individual students
Application Deadline
Interested applicants shall submit their applications for admission online on or before 31 March 2026 to be considered for the PolyU SPEED Belt & Road Scholarship 2026/27:

Due to a longer processing time for non-local students’ admission applications and the requirement to apply for a student visa, the earlier they apply, the higher their chances of receiving the Scholarship.
