BA (Hons) in Media and Communication Design Annual Showcase “Rise & Design”

PolyU SPEED’s BA (Hons) in Media and Communication Design held its Annual Showcase with the theme of "Rise & Design" at the Pao Galleries of the Hong Kong Arts Centre from 22 June to 2 July 2022 to exhibit graduates’ design works. Mr Tommy Li, a world-renowned designer, was invited as Guest of Honour.

Lam Bo-ying, one of the graduates, designed a fun board game called "MIRROR MIRROR Embrace Your Inner Beauty & Power" to arouse young women’s awareness of mental health and the importance of inner beauty and also encourage them to embrace their own uniqueness.

PolyU SPEED arranged for Bo-ying to come up with a set of image management plans for a catering business, with the aim of reshaping the brand’s uniqueness. During the process, she also gained valuable practical experience. She said, "From understanding the client's needs, determining the design direction, concretising the design concept to presenting the idea using various multimedia technologies, the whole process was a complete and precious learning experience."
