BHM Professional Talk Series: Exploring Corporate Travel and MICE Industry

The BHM Professional Talk Series, titled “Pracademic (Practical & Academic) Encounter – State of the Corporate Travel Industry”, took place on 21 March 2025 at AsiaWorld-Expo. Dr Benson Tang, Executive Director at Informa Markets, delivered an insightful session tailored to students studying convention and exhibition management.

As part of the experience, the students also visited exhibition booths at Connect Marketplace Hong Kong 2025, interacting with industry professionals and gaining hands-on knowledge about organising large-scale events.

The event offered a comprehensive analysis of the corporate travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) industries, effectively blending academic concepts with practical applications. Participants gained a deeper understanding of industry trends, challenges and opportunities, equipping them to navigate and contribute to these dynamic sectors with confidence.
