Business Students Visit Hong Kong’s Leading Container Terminals

On 20 November 2025, students from PolyU CPCE’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management embarked on a study tour to two of Hong Kong’s leading container terminal operators: Modern Terminals Limited (MTL) and Hongkong International Terminal (HIT).

The visit at MTL showcased cutting-edge automation systems, advanced smart logistics technologies, and sustainability practices that are shaping the future of port operations. At HIT, the students observed how technology-driven port management boosts operational efficiency and productivity.

The tours provided the students with first-hand insights into the evolving landscape of maritime logistics, while reinforcing their understanding of the critical role that logistics and port management play in driving international commerce.
