Chinese Language and Culture Students Visit Exhibition on Stage Photos of Old Cantonese Films

The Division of Languages and Communication (LC) organised a field visit to the exhibition “昨日的影今日的光—粵語片劇照風華半世紀” (Yesterday’s Cinema, Today’s Light) which featured stage photos of old Cantonese films for new students of BA (Hons) in Chinese Language and Culture admitted on 27 August 2022.

Dr Cheung Kwan-hin, Associate Division Head of the LC, and Dr Lau Kam-tang, Award Leader of the programme, guided the students throughout the tour to enrich their cultural knowledge of Cantonese films. They could also understand more about old Hong Kong from another perspective and its inextricable connection with Chinese people from around the globe.
