Community Service in Yue Kwong Chuen

On 20 September 2025, about 20 lecturers and students from the Division of Business and Hospitality Management of PolyU CPCE participated in a community service initiative jointly organised by the Rotaract Club of PolyU CPCE, the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island East, and the Aberdeen Kaifong Welfare Association Services Centre. The project was dedicated to supporting elderly residents impacted by the Yue Kwong Chuen Redevelopment Project as they prepared for relocation.

The students enthusiastically took part in cleaning, packing, and clearing away unwanted items. They also delivered gift bags of moon cakes and fruits, while engaging in friendly conversations with the elderly residents. This thoughtful initiative enabled the seniors to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with comfort and joy before moving to their new homes.
