Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP Appointed by Communications Authority as Advisory Committee Member

Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE and Director of PolyU SPEED, has been appointed by the Office of the Communications Authority as a member of the Telecommunications Users and Consumers Advisory Committee.

The committee members include representatives from the Consumer Council, trade associations and the Education Bureau, as well as academics and specialists. The key role is to provide advice to the Director-General of Communications on matters relating to the development, provision and maintenance of telecommunication services, as well as the education and dissemination of information to consumers and users of these services. Such advice will help ensure service quality, reasonable pricing, and the effectiveness of the education work.
