Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED, Elevated to IEEE Senior Member

Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED and Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE, has recently been elevated to Senior Member by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

IEEE is the world's largest non-profit technical professional organisation, dedicated to advancing technological innovation for the benefit of humanity. Beyond electrical and electronics engineering, its scope extends to advanced technology fields such as computer science, communications, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and aerospace systems.

With over 500,000 members in more than 160 countries, only about 10% of IEEE members achieve the Senior Member grade, which recognises significant professional experience and noteworthy achievements.
