Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Invited as Guest of Honour at SKH St. Simon’s Lui Ming Choi Secondary School’s High Table Dinner

Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE and Director of PolyU SPEED, was invited by SKH St. Simon's Lui Ming Choi Secondary School as a Guest of Honour for its first High Table Dinner on 23 February 2024.

The theme of the High Table Dinner was “Striving for Excellence”. Dr Chan delivered his speech on this theme, with the aim of inspiring students to be proactive, resilient, and ambitious.   

“Embracing challenges and dream big" is not only the belief held by the Lui Ming Choi community but also the spirit that the dinner aimed to convey. To recognise students who have achieved outstanding accomplishments both inside and outside the school, an award presentation ceremony was also held during the dinner. Moreover, the school invited distinguished alumni to return and share their experiences, fostering exchanges with current students. This served to perpetuate the school's motto "Labor Omnia Vincit" and to motivate the new generation of Lui Ming Choi to carry on the legacy and continuously strive for excellence.
