“Foreign Language Enhancement Programme” Attracts Over 100 Students

The Division of Languages and Communication of PolyU CPCE organised the "Foreign Language Enhancement Programme" from mid-October to late November 2023, offering a diverse range of online language courses to PolyU HKCC and PolyU SPEED students who aspired to enhance their language skills. The five captivating courses "Basic Korean", "Learning German with Fun", “Daily Life Japanese”, “Basic French and French Culture” and “Introduction to Russian Culture and Language” were well received by 104 students. 

The programme aimed to provide students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in various cultures while enhancing their language proficiency. Students could develop practical communication skills, cultural awareness, and a deeper understanding of the languages they studied. Additionally, the programme fostered cross-cultural connections and promoted a global mindset among the participants.
