Inauguration Ceremony of Certificate in Traffic Engineering

PolyU SPEED was delighted to host the Inauguration Ceremony for the Certificate in Traffic Engineering at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus on 26 January 2024.

Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Associate Dean (Information and Development) and Director of PolyU SPEED, extended a warm welcome to the attendees in his opening remarks. This was followed by an insightful speech by Mr. Patrick Ho, JP, Deputy Commissioner/Planning and Technical Services, Transport Department.

During the ceremony, the Course Development and Teaching Team responsible for the Certificate in Traffic Engineering course was introduced. Their dedication to delivering high-quality training in the field was highlighted.

The Certificate in Traffic Engineering course, an in-house training course pitched at QF Level 4, is designed to equip the newly joined Technical Officer Trainees (Traffic) in the Transport Department with the essential technical knowledge required for their effective performance in the field of traffic engineering.
