Navigating the Cruise Industry Aboard Piano Land

On 21 April 2025, students from PolyU CPCE’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management, and Northumbria University, UK, took part in a joint learning experience aboard the Piano Land cruise ship. Operated by Astro Ocean International Cruise Co. Ltd under China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Ltd, Piano Land recently designated Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal as its home port.

The visit featured a guided tour of the cruise ship and a seminar on cruise operations, offering students a valuable opportunity to explore the operational strategies behind this national brand initiative, as well as broadening their understanding of the evolving cruise industry.
