PolyU CPCE Partners with Ascott China to Nurture Hospitality Talent

PolyU CPCE and Ascott China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 27 March 2025, marking the start of a landmark partnership between the College’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management and Ascott China.
The MoU, signed by Prof. Peter Yuen, Dean of PolyU CPCE, and Mr Joseph Wong, Managing Director of Ascott China, opens up opportunities for students to gain practical experience through internships and placements at Ascott’s establishments across China, empowering them to thrive in the competitive hospitality industry.
Beyond providing internships, the alliance lays the foundation for collaborative research initiatives, driving innovation and facilitating knowledge-sharing to raise the standards of the hospitality sector.
This agreement underscores the shared commitment of PolyU CPCE and Ascott China to nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and advancing the long-term development of the hospitality industry.
