PolyU CPCE Volunteer Network Appreciation Ceremony

On 18 June 2025, PolyU CPCE held the 2024/25 CPCE Volunteer Network (VNET) Appreciation Ceremony to honour student volunteers for their passion and contributions to community service, and to thank partner organisations for providing valuable volunteer learning opportunities.
Distinguished guests at the ceremony included Ms Lee Pui-ki, CEO of Agency for Volunteer Service; Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED and Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE, Prof. Ricky Chan, Associate Dean (Education) of PolyU CPCE; Dr Anthony Loh, Director of PolyU HKCC; Dr Joseph Lau, Head of Student Affairs of PolyU CPCE, and representatives from various partner organisations.
A total of 11 students were awarded Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their outstanding performance in volunteer service. Among them, Chan Hoi-tung received certificates for both “outstanding contribution” and “completion of Learning Journal”. She shared her experiences and insights from participating in volunteer activities, demonstrating the younger generation’s sense of responsibility and care for society.
VNET has continuously partnered with various organisations to offer volunteer service projects, enabling students to apply their ability, patience and knowledge to spread love and care throughout society.
