PolyU SPEED 12 April Admission Day – Programme Talks Attract Enthusiastic Participation

PolyU SPEED held its Admission Day on 12 April 2025, featuring a series of programme talks organised by different Academic Divisions. The sessions covered both undergraduate and master’s degree programmes, providing participants with in-depth insights into their study options. Highlights included:

Division of Languages and Communication: A talk titled "Navigating the Convergence of Creativity, AI, and Language: Insights from our MA Programmes in Language and Communication” was held to introduce the newly launched MA in Chinese Creative Writing and Media Culture* and MA in AI and Technology-assisted Language Teaching*.

Division of Business and Hospitality: The "MSc in Green Business Management" programme talk analysed sustainable business strategies.

Division of Science, Engineering, and Health Studies: The session " Financial AI: Leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) in Sentiment Analysis for Investment and Trading" showcased innovative applications of fintech.

Division of Social Sciences, Humanities and Design: The "BA (Hons) in Media and Communication Design" presentation discussed emerging trends in digital media.

On-the-Spot Benefits
Application fees were waived for both undergraduate top-up degree and master’s degree programmes, with eligible undergraduate applicants receiving an offer on the same day. Upon completion of studies, all PolyU SPEED graduates will earn a degree awarded by PolyU, a world top 100 university.
