PolyU SPEED Co-organises Forum on Enhancing New Quality Productive Forces in Northern Metropolis

The forum on Enhancing New Quality Productive Forces in Northern Metropolis, organised by The Y.Elites Association and co-organised by The Greater Bay Area  5G Industry Alliance and PolyU SPEED,  was held on 22 June 2024 at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus, with over 100 industry professionals attending to discuss the latest developments and opportunities in #Northern_Metropolis.

Attendees included Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED, Mr Tony Hau, Chairman of the Executive Committee of The Greater Bay Area 5G Industry Alliance, and Prof. Witman Hung, JP, Life Chairman Emeritus of The Y.Elites Association, as well as several LegCo members.

During the interactive sessions, the guests analysed how to enhance the new quality productive forces in Northern Metropolis from various perspectives, such as innovative technology, factors of production, industry-academia-research collaborations, the division of labour between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and planning of new quality productive forces.
