PolyU SPEED Director Dr Jason Chan Honoured as Global 200 Awardee at World CIO 200 Summit

Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED and Associate Dean (Information and Development) and Head of IT of PolyU CPCE, has been recognised as a “Global 200” awardee at the World CIO 200 Summit Grand Finale held from 14 to 18 September 2025 in Egypt. This accolade highlights his outstanding leadership and contributions to information technology and innovation.


The World CIO 200 Summit is a premier global gathering of IT leaders. This year marks the summit’s 10th anniversary, making the event especially significant. Dr Chan was selected from over 4,000 nominations across more than 50 countries, following a rigorous two-stage evaluation process involving the local ambassador and a prestigious global jury panel. His achievement underscores the international recognition of his professional excellence.


The Summit aims to honour leaders who have made significant impacts in technology innovation, digital transformation, and cybersecurity. The 2025 Grand Finale was hosted across the historic cities of Cairo and Alexandria in Egypt, bringing together technology leaders from around the world to exchange insights, explore emerging trends, and foster cross-border collaboration.
