PolyU SPEED Signs MoU with DFI Retail Group on Preparing HK’s First QF Level 6 Programme for Retail Industry

PolyU SPEED signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DFI Retail Group on 9 May 2024 to start the groundwork for Hong Kong's first Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 6 programme, equivalent to a master's degree, for the retail industry, as well as a QF Level 5 programme (equivalent to a bachelor's degree) and other learning opportunities such as internships and business case competitions.

The MoU was signed by Dr Jason Chan, MH, JP, Director of PolyU SPEED and Associate Dean (Information and Development) of PolyU CPCE and Ms Joy Xu, Group Chief People & Culture Officer of DFI Retail Group.

Through the new programmes, DFI staff will be equipped with future skills and a strong foundation in retail management that will help shape the future of DFI and the retail industry. DFI will also provide internship and business case competition opportunities for PolyU CPCE students, allowing them to gain practical experience and fostering their problem-solving skills, with the aim of nurturing promising talents for the industry.
