Seminar on Diabetic Nephropathy: Advancing Prevention and Monitoring for End Stage Renal Disease

The Centre for Ageing and Healthcare Management Research (CAHMR) of PolyU SPEED hosted the Seminar on Diabetic Nephropathy at the PolyU Hung Hom Bay Campus on 8 June 2024, with the aim of reducing end stage renal disease due to diabetes. 


Diabetic nephropathy is a major complication affecting diabetic patients. With the participation of a distinguished panel of professionals in the field, the seminar shed light on the various challenges and provided insights into the way forward for this critical issue, hoping to promote greater awareness amongst the public and health care professionals for better prevention, monitoring and management of the condition.
