Students Join HATA Annual Convention in Chengdu

From 19 to 22 September 2025, about 20 business students participated in the Hong Kong Association of Travel Agents (HATA) Annual Overseas Convention held in Chengdu. The convention featured keynote presentations by leading figures in Sichuan’s tourism sector, offering valuable insights into regional development strategies. The students also explored renowned cultural landmarks such as the Leshan Giant Buddha and the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, enriching their appreciation of Sichuan’s unique cultural and natural heritage.

Beyond the educational sessions, the event provided networking opportunities with industry professionals and fellow students, fostering connections that will support their future careers. This enriching experience expanded the students’ academic horizons and cultural awareness, instilling greater confidence in their future professional endeavours.
