Treasure Boutique x Dress Green Promote Campus Eco-Education

On 4 November 2025, Treasure Boutique joined hands with social enterprise Dress Green to host the “Clothing Classification Upcycling Challenge” at the PolyU West Kowloon Campus. The event, held in the form of an interactive workshop, aimed to convey to students the importance of clothing classification and upcycling, while exploring the profound impact of environmental concepts on everyday life.

Under the guidance of fabric instructors, students learned to classify synthetic and natural fibres. They also designed a simulated assembly line to carry out packing operations, experiencing firsthand the complete process of clothing recycling. By the end of the activity, participants sorted 12 boxes containing a total of 800 second-hand garments, all neatly organised.

Treasure Boutique and Dress Green hope that this initiative will inspire more students to engage with environmental issues and embrace sustainable practices in their daily lives.
