Two Electrical Engineering Students Receive Sir Edward Youde Memorial Awards

Two students from the BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering programme (part-time) at PolyU SPEED were honoured at the 38th Awards Presentation Ceremony of the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund held on 16 March 2025.
Wong Chi-wai, a dedicated technician, received the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Outstanding Apprentice Award, while Tse Chi-wing, a motivated generation trainee, was presented with the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Award for Self-Improvement for Working Adults. The awards not only recognised their diligence and commitment to work, but also their enduring pursuit of lifelong learning.
The Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund offers scholarships and awards to outstanding students from senior secondary to tertiary levels, exceptional apprentices, and working adults who underwent retraining and successfully applied what they learned in their new positions.
