Two Surveying Graduates Receive HKIS Outstanding Final Year Dissertation Awards

Congratulations to two 2019 graduates of PolyU SPEED’s Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Surveying on receiving the Top Award and Second Award in Quantity Surveying respectively in the Outstanding Final Year Dissertation Awards 2020 organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS).


Mr Kong Tsz-pang won the Top Award with his project entitled “Assessing the potential applications and hurdles of cost management IF using 5D Building Information Modelling (BIM)” while Mr Yip Ming-fuk earned the Second Award with his project entitled “An Interpretivist Approach on Factors Affecting Construction Labor Productivity in Hong Kong” under the supervision of Dr Sandy Tang, Senior Lecturer of Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studies.

 

The Outstanding Final Year Dissertation Awards, organised for the final year students of the HKIS-accredited degree programmes, aim to promote research amongst future surveyors.
