• Graduates will find exciting career opportunities in the digital design and development arena, with roles available such as user experience (UX) designers, interaction designers, usability specialists, front-end developers, data visualization specialists, and creative technologists. The programme equips students with the skills needed to create engaging user experiences, develop user-friendly interfaces, and ensure accessibility for varied audiences. The skill set prepares students to excel in a rapidly evolving industry and positions them for success in a wide range of career pathways.

Further Study Opportunities

• Graduates can pursue postgraduate studies in famous local and overseas universities, such as master's degree in the areas of Intelligent Systems Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Creative Media, etc.

The programme of study consists of at least 120 credits. All students are also required to complete 300 hours of Work-Integrated Education component.

For HKDSE qualification holders:

• Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language;
• Level 2 in Mathematics;
• “Attained” level in Citizenship and Social Development; and
• Level 2 or “Attained” level in one elective.

For holders of other qualifications:  

• The equivalents of the above requirements.

For those who do not possess the above-mentioned qualifications but have reached the age of 25 before 1 September in the admission year, they may apply as “mature” applicants. They must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge and potential to indicate a high probability of being able to complete the programme successfully.
