Programme Talk: Career Opportunities in the F&B Industry

On 6 November 2025, PolyU SPEED’s BBA (Hons) in Foodservice Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) hosted a talk by Mr Johnny Lee, Restaurant Manager of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. His presentation, “Shaping the Future of Food – Sustainable Practices and Career Opportunities in the F&B Industry”, highlighted career pathways, sustainability and the role of AI in foodservice operations.


Participants—both business students on campus and prospective students online—gained practical insights into social responsibility, environmental impact, and technology-driven transformation. Dr Kate Law, Programme Leader of FME, introduced the programme and its alignment with industry trends. The Q&A inspired students to explore future opportunities in the F&B sector.
