Professional Recognition
Students can join the Hong Kong College of Community Health Practitioners (HKCCHP) as student members, and, upon graduation, can advance to the Associate Fellowship (AFHKCCHP) status.

Future Prospects
Graduates are able to pursue a wide range of careers, with opportunities in both public and private sectors for roles including environmental protection inspector, laboratory technician, sustainability consultant, pharmaceutical sales representative, technical officer, teaching and research personnels in environmental science.
Further Study Opportunities
Graduates are able to pursue postgraduate studies in environmental science and management, as well as related STEM areas, with opportunities for master’s degree studies in health, science and engineering disciplines.
Programme Structure
The programme of study consists of at least 120 credits. All students are also required to complete 300 hours of non-credit-bearing Work-Integrated Education component.

Entrance Requirements
For HKDSE qualification holders:
- Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language;
- Level 2 in Mathematics;
- “Attained” level in Citizenship and Social Development; and
- Level 2 or “Attained” level in one elective subject
Subject Preference:
- Level 2 in one of extended modules in Mathematics; and
- Level 2 in Biology or Chemistry or Physics or Combined Science
For holders of other qualifications:
- The equivalents of the above requirements.
For those who do not possess the above-mentioned qualifications but have reached the age of 25 before 1 September in the admission year, they may apply as “mature” applicants. They must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge and potential to indicate a high probability of being able to complete the programme successfully.
