Professional Recognition
- Students can join the Hong Kong College of Community Health Practitioners (HKCCHP) as student members, and, upon graduation, can advance to the Associate Fellowship (AFHKCCHP) status.
- Students are also eligible to apply as Associate Members of the Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives (HKCHSE).

- Graduates are able to pursue a wide range of careers, including roles as community health practitioners, executive assistants, university research assistants, marketing professionals in health education, administratorsin public hospitals of the Hospital Authority, positions in Government ambulance, fire and immigration services, quality control and sales representatives in pharmaceutical companies, sales in health device companies, insurance professionals, coordinators for NGO community projects

Programme Structure
The programme of study consists of at least 120 credits. All students are also required to complete 300 hours of non-credit-bearing Work-Integrated Education component.

Entrance Requirements
For HKDSE qualification holders:
- Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language;
- Level 2 in Mathematics;
- “Attained” level in Citizenship and Social Development; and
- Level 2 or “Attained” level in one elective subject.
HKDSE subject preferences:
- Biology and Combined Science (with Biology component).
For holders of other qualifications:
- The equivalents of the above requirements.
For those who do not possess the above-mentioned qualifications but have reached the age of 25 before 1 September in the admission year, they may apply as “mature” applicants. They must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge and potential to indicate a high probability of being able to complete the programme successfully.
