Career Prospects
Graduates are able to pursue a wide range of careers, including Assistant to Clinical Psychologist, Civil Servant, Research Assistant at universities, Management Trainee, Marketing Executive, Human Resources Officer, and Teaching Assistant.
Further Study Opportunities
Graduates are able to pursue a wide range of higher degrees relevant with professional psychology practice, including master degrees in clinical psychology, educational psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, counseling, counseling psychology, occupational therapy, audiology, speech and hearing therapy, and social work. They are also able to pursue research higher degrees in psychology including MPhil and Ph.D
Programme Structure
The programme of study consists of at least 120 credits. All students are also required to complete 300 hours of Work-Integrated Education component.

Entrance Requirements
For HKDSE qualification holders:
- Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language;
- Level 2 in Mathematics;
- “Attained” level in Citizenship and Social Development; and
- Level 2 or “Attained” level in one elective.
For holders of other qualifications:
- The equivalents of the above requirements.
For those who do not possess the above-mentioned qualifications but have reached the age of 25 before 1 September in the admission year, they may apply as “mature” applicants. They must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge and potential to indicate a high probability of being able to complete the programme successfully.
