Event Planner Workshop at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

On 5 April 2025, students from PolyU CPCE’s Division of Business and Hospitality Management embarked on an enriching cultural journey to Cheung Chau, immersing themselves in the island’s rich traditions and culinary delights.
The adventure began with an exploration of local eateries, where students indulged in signature nostalgic treats. They then immersed themselves in a hands-on Cheung Chau Bun Workshop, honing the art of crafting this iconic delicacy. Following this, a 3D Relief Sculpture Workshop offered a creative outlet for the students to vividly depict the history of the Cheung Chau Jiao Festival, a nationally recognised intangible cultural heritage. To round off the experience, the students toured a traditional ice factory, deepening their understanding of Cheung Chau’s distinctive cultural legacy.
