Online Cultural Talk on Fujian Food

More than 30 lecturers and students attended the online cultural talk entitled "記憶中的盛宴—漫談福建飲食文化" (Cultural Talk on Fujian Food) hosted by the BA (Hons) in Chinese Language and Culture on 27 September 2022. 


Dr Yip Tak-ping, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at The Education University of Hong Kong and President of Hong Kong History and Culture Society, was invited to give the lecture. Starting from the geography of Fujian, Dr Yip discussed the food culture of Fujian in detail. He also talked about the taste of southern Fujian in his childhood. The participants had a good interaction with Dr Yip and learnt a lot more about the culture of Fujian.
