  • Internship opportunities at healthcare facilities, including public or private hospitals, medical clinics, community healthcare centres in order to prepare for a career in the health care sector
  • Graduates can take up positions as Executive Assistants in Hospital Authority and Project Officers at other healthcare organisations
  • Scholarship (Up to HK$82,500 per awardee each year) and internship opportunities offered by the Hong Kong Integrated Oncology Centre (HKIOC) subject to availability

Programme Structure

The programme of study consists of at least 120 credits. All students are also required to complete 300 hours of non-credit-bearing Work-Integrated Education component.

Entrance Requirements

For HKDSE qualification holders:

  • Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language;
  • Level 2 in Mathematics;
  • “Attained” level in Citizenship and Social Development; and
  • Level 2 or “Attained” level in one elective.

 

For holders of other qualifications:  

  • The equivalents of the above requirements.

 

For those who do not possess the above-mentioned qualifications but have reached the age of 25 before 1 September in the admission year, they may apply as “mature” applicants. They must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge and potential to indicate a high probability of being able to complete the programme successfully.
