The programme is fully endorsed by the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM). Students are eligible to apply to HKIHRM as Student Member and graduates are eligible to apply to HKIHRM as Associate Member.

The programme is recognised and accredited by the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR). Students are eligible to apply for exemption from the professional examination of CPHR and graduates are eligible to apply for full membership subject to fulfilment of the relevant professional experience requirement of CPHR.

Programme Structure

The programme of study consists of at least 120 credits. All students are also required to complete 300 hours of non-credit-bearing Work-Integrated Education component.

Entrance Requirements

For HKDSE qualification holders:

  • Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language;
  • Level 2 in Mathematics;
  • “Attained” level in Citizenship and Social Development; and
  • Level 2 or “Attained” level in one elective.

 

For holders of other qualifications:  

  • The equivalents of the above requirements.

 

For those who do not possess the above-mentioned qualifications but have reached the age of 25 before 1 September in the admission year, they may apply as “mature” applicants. They must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge and potential to indicate a high probability of being able to complete the programme successfully.
