I obtained a lot of building engineering knowledge from the PolyU SPEED BEM programme and knew how to handle maintenance engineering projects from a macro perspective ,which is very useful for solving maintenance problems. In addition, the programme covers the knowledge of building maintenance, and enables me to understand construction materials, contracts and details of the construction process.

I graduated from BSc(Hons) in Building Engineering and Management at PolyU SPEED which equips me with the necessary knowledge and trains me to be a competent construction professional. Upon graduation, I keep close contact with PolyU SPEED and deliver guest talks with BEM students and interested parties to share practical experience for their professional career development. I am an engineering professional with extensive experience across healthcare infrastructure and civil megaprojects. I delivered major hospital developments under the 10-Year Plan. Building a massive composite steel structure at Kwong Wah Hospital sparked my passion for civil engineering, leading me to earn my Master's degree and transition into the civil sector. Seeking to step out of my comfort zone, I joined the Sha Tin Cavern project, where I now manage complex deep blasting and interface works. Beyond site operations, I hold multiple qualifications in engineering and contract law, and actively contribute to the industry as an HKIE President’s Protégé and HKIE-YMC committee member.
